Name: Linzie Robins
Title: Executive Assistant
Years with Datasource: 1.5
Total Years Industry Experience: 9.5
Current Home CityLittleton, CO

Tell us about your experience with Datasource Consulting (DSC), including types of projects and positions held:

I was hired on as the Executive Assistant and maintain that role, although I do wear many hats here at Datasource. In addition to my EA role, I am the Office Manager, ‘iExpense Genius’, Professional Costco Shopper, Invoice Assistant, Expert FedEx Shipper, Deal Review Organizer… just to name a few. I am also an active member in the Datasource Action Squad and love organizing company events. I enjoy getting to smile at everyone that walks in the door and providing support to the Datasource team.

Describe life at Datasource with three unique words.

 Entertaining, Fruitful, Challenging

Tell us what you like most about working at Datasource.

I have really enjoyed working with my team; we are constantly laughing and here to support one another. I also like that I get to bring my dog Kingston to work.

What is on your bucket list?

I would love to travel to Santorini, Greece for a few weeks - fingers crossed I get to go there on my honeymoon! I would also like to adventure around Ireland and drink Guinness at the Guinness factory. Music wise, I really want to attend Burning Man, but I need to grasp the fact that I wouldn’t be able to shower for a week, LOL.

What are you proudest accomplishments?

~ I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado, Denver

~ My daughter Layla, she’s turned into a very smart, wonderful little girl

~ Buying my first house in Littleton, CO two years ago

~ Summiting two 14ners so far (a new hobby of mine)

What are your hobbies outside of work?

I LOVE the outdoors and going on adventures in the Colorado mountains with my family and my dog, King. I try to go camping as much as I can in summer and hike year around in the foothills near my house.

During my down time, I enjoy reading fiction books and cooking new Mexican recipes. I also have an obsession with cats! Darla and Aria my cute Tortoiseshells.

What is your hidden talent?

I go to the farmers’ market in the fall months and gather ingredients to can fresh salsa with my mom. We can about 200 jars a year.

I also can make the world’s best green chili! I think we should have a chili cook-off here at the office.

What phobias do you have?

I’m deathly afraid of bees, in fact I run and scream every time I see one. I also don’t like unpainted toe nails…weird, I know.
