Tell us about your experience with Datasource Consulting (DSC), including types of projects and positions held:
I started working with Datasource in August of 2017 as Senior Business Analyst. As a member of the offshore team, I’ve had the opportunity to learn various ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica), and working with the senior folks here helps me explore even more on ETL side. I am currently working on an SSIS project - we had an SSIS training during the last quarter of 2017, and I can now relate to the elements taught during training while working on same tool. The team has grown since I joined and it’s exciting to see it evolve.
Describe life at Datasource with three unique words.
Thrilling, Challenging, and Lots of Fun.
Tell us what you like most about working at Datasource.
I love working with the team here and the work itself; it gives me the opportunity to expand my knowledge base, get to know prospects, work together as a team, solve client problems, and make a difference.
What challenges you the most and what motivates you the most at Datasource?
The work is very challenging. It is also fun and motivating to celebrate closing an opportunity or completion of a critical task that we have been collaborating and working hard on.
What is on your bucket list?
I want to go see Aurora Borealis, it offers an entrancing, dramatic, magical display which fascinates me.
What are your proudest accomplishments?
My proudest accomplishment would be the time I handled the entire migration project for one of the biggest EXL clients, starting from planning till implementation with just three years of experience at the time. My manager and senior manager were both out, and there were many ad-hoc changes at the last moment.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I love reading, watching series (watching Scandal now), working out (it’s a stress-buster).
I also go out with my friends for badminton and cycling (sometimes).
What is your hidden talent?
I am an awesome host.
What phobias do you have?
I am scared of pain. I cannot tolerate even slight pain.
Tell us why you fell in love with data.
Data tells you a lot about any person/firm. It’s fascinating to understand and explore data.
